My Masi (Aunt) from New Jersey called me yesterday to tell me that she had checked out my facebook page for the blog and was excited to try out the recipes. She said that she really wanted to make the mango salsa and asked me to send her the link to the recipe. So here I am, after realising that I do not have the recipe on the blog. This is such a simple recipe and pairs up well with baked tilapia or just plain corn chips.
Ingredients:
- 1 semi-ripe mango – diced
- 1 jalapeno – deveined and diced
- 2 tbs of cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 tbs of lime juice
- A dash of hot sauce. I use Frank’s.
How I made it:
I just tossed all of the above. If you want you can add little salt and sugar, depending on taste. I like it a little tangy so skipped the salt and sugar.
